By booking a tour, safari, or related services with Perfect Journey Tours and Safaris (“we,” “our,” “us”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking & Payments
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email, WhatsApp, or our booking form.
- A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure reservations.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure unless otherwise agreed.
- Payments can be made via M-Pesa, bank transfer, or credit/debit card.
2. Pricing
- All prices are quoted in USD or KES and are subject to availability.
- Prices include items stated in the package (transport, park fees, meals, accommodation, guide services).
- Exclusions such as visas, travel insurance, personal expenses, and tips are clearly indicated.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- Cancellation fees apply as follows:
- – 30 days or more before departure – Full refund (minus transaction charges).
- – 15–29 days before departure – 50% refund.
- – Less than 14 days before departure – No refund.
- No refunds are made for no-shows, early departures, or unused services.
4. Changes to Itineraries
- We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to weather conditions, park regulations, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Where possible, we will provide alternatives of equal value.
5. Travel Documents & Insurance
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and travel insurance.
- We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, cancellation, and personal belongings.
6. Health & Safety
- Safaris may involve exposure to wildlife and outdoor risks. Clients must follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
- We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or illnesses unless caused by proven negligence.
7. Liability
- Perfect Journey Tours and Safaris acts as an agent for hotels, transport companies, and other service providers and is not liable for their acts, omissions, or failures.
- We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or losses due to natural disasters, strikes, weather, or government actions.
8. Special Requests
- Any special requests (dietary, accommodation, mobility needs) must be communicated at the time of booking. While we will do our best, these requests cannot be guaranteed.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya.
- Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
